Buktot Beach: The undiscovered beauty of Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro

It's a summer vacation when my cousin Angel invited me to come over to their house and to visit to Buktot beach. I heard a lot about the beauty of buktot beach since when I was in high school that's why I'm really interested to see that beautiful beach. It's really perfect since we're on vacation in Mindoro with my sister and brother so we decided to come. We stayed in my cousin's house just few minutes for the preparation of food before we go. Then after the preparation, this is it! we're ready to go and I can't really wait to see it! :)

We're ready to go :-)
I took these photos when we're on a small fishing boat going to Buktot beach.
When I saw this beach I felt like I was in paradise. What a beautiful beach! The white sand, sunset, trees, fresh air, and sea -the perfect summer for me. I really like the color of the sea reflects to the color of the sky and the fresh air coming from the trees. The beach was so quiet, perfect for those people who want to relax and meditate. And there were only a few people on the beach and about 13 cottages for rent. The cottage made almost entirely of bamboo. We paid Php100 for the rent for one cottage and Php10 per person for the entrance fee.

The rocky side of the beach

There are no hotels and bars in Buktot beach like the other popular beaches in the Philippines. The natural beauty of Buktot beach was really exceptional, it's so relaxing. This was my perfect summer ever! Sometime soon I would like to come back in this place again. I also recommend to bring your own food because there's no restaurant there. :-)

The white sand :-)
